maintainer-clean in lyx

Hi!

I wanted to check out the work from ~M, and in order
to save space, did a "make maintainer-cleabn" before I wrapped it
up in an archive for downloading.
However, make maintainer-clean does not work in the
new kernel/ sub-directory.

Something for Jean-Marc?
