Figure closing irritant in 1.0.2

Hi,

If I have a figure float open in 1.0.2 which is larger than the screen
(i.e. the red enclosing box is larger than the vertical screen height),
when I click on the figure tab, the cursor jumps inside the figure box,
rather than closes the figure as desired. If the figure is smaller than
the screen, the figure is closed normally. I'm working on an 800x600
screen, and this is really getting annoying (lots of figures for a talk
I'm giving on Monday). Any ideas?
