Ahh, I'd missed double-space being a hack . . . 

In an uncharacteristic display of restraint, I've managed to avoid 
trying to go to the sources and either make floatflt work or do a new 
package to allow wrapping to occur during headings as well . . . first 
I'll find the time to fit mailmerge to 1.1 (said mailmerge having 
resulted last time I got this peeved at something . . . )

rick, who didn't get a job from that mass-mailing anyway
