I just discovered LyX for the first time at 1am in the morning
after glibc 2.1 broke Star Office. I was searching for a replacement
and I remember reading on freshmeat about this so called
'document processor' call LyX.
Well, I compiled the newest version (1.0.2pre3) and it's WONDERFUL!
I can easily remap my keyboard for German when I'm typing my papers
for German class. You have *NO* idea how happy I was to find this in
LyX.
Not only that, but the ideas behind LyX are great. I've never been
satisfied with any Word Processor. Now I realized what I wanted
(and needed) was a WYSIWYM document processor!
Thank you for creating such a great tool!
