I see several problems with this patch:
- why would you want to use math-matrix instead of the math popup?
- math-matrix is already described in the Reference manual
- I would not advise people in the User Guide to tweak the LaTeX code.
- You should not use \LaTeX in ERT mode. Just use LaTeX and LyX does
the rest.
So, instead I missed something, I'd rather not apply it...
