I have encounter the following bug after installing the new version of
Lyx lyx-1.0.0pre6.

Description:

My platform is Linux/Intel Red Hat 5.1

When I bring up Lyx, everything seems OK. However, when I try to do
Options: -> Reconfigure, then Lyx crashes as follows:
It brings in a small window with the message:

I canont change to directory /home/myhome/.lyx

(/home/myhome is my home dir).

The message I get on the window from which I call Lyx is:

--------------
sh: `-c' requires an argument

lyx: SIGSEGV signal caught
Sorry, you have found a bug in LyX. If possible, please read 'Known bugs'
under the Help menu and then send us a full bug report. Thanks!
Bye.

I also tried to run gdb and here is what I got:

# gdb src/lyx
GNU gdb 4.17

This GDB was configured as "i386-redhat-linux"...
(gdb) run
Starting program: /home/myhome/Lyx/lyx-1.0.0pre6/src/lyx
sh: `-c' requires an argument

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Incidently, the previous version of Lyx (lyx-0.12.0) that I compiled
on the same platform does not have this problem.

Thank you very much
