The title page of the Article Class (with "heading" style enabled) keeps putting a "1" at the bottom, I don't think I need a page number on my title page. :-) So how do I get rid of it? Plus, I've noticed my footnotes keep floating to the end of the section, instead of getting placed at the bottom of the current page. I've looked at the .lyx file and noticed this is coded intentionally, by using references. What's that all about? Can this be disabled as well? I haven't yet looked into the Article class definition files yet, because I'm afraid they might be a little over my head. If I have to I will, but I hope I won't have to. :-) I've used the Article document class in plain ole LaTeX before, and I've noticed that LyX's rendition contains these two (so far) noticable differences.
