Support for ulem.sty is planned. Changebar support will possibly be a
bit harder to implement, but this too has been thought of.

This is planned.

This has been tought of, and are also part of the mm add on?
I was thinking of useing version.sty for this...But I think we will do
it more directly in LyX. Thoughts welcome.

This has been thought of.

if the file you edit in which file it is supposed to be placed this
can be done automatically...else I do not see the _real_ need for
this.

  BN> 8. user-definable variables? :))

Has been thought of. But what will you do with them? Or are you
thinking of "lgb" -> "Lars Gullik Bjønnes" kind of variables?

If you define them in *.layout this is already possible. What I'l like
to see is a interactive way to create new layouts. These could be
stored in the document and/or in some global/user templates.

BN> any comments about these ?

You, got mine.

I have recreated the "todo" list that got lost in the big disk-crash,
you can look there for most of the ideas for new features in LyX:

This will be moved into the devel three later.
