There is a new gnome library for signals/slots. It is a totally revised
design of the gtk-- signal/slot mechanism which is even more impressive in
its capabilities than the original. They are nearly ready to unleash it
on the world and need testers but they especially need comments on the API
which has changed from what we're used to in gtk-- (it has in fact
reverted to something closer to the original API for signals in gtk--).
