We've all done something interesting or "neat" with LyX. Resumes, presentations, forms ... sometimes just hacking the preamble, other times writing styles/document classes, whatever. I figure among the group here we have some eye opening examples. However I've never seen an effort here to try and bundle together what we all have in the can, what we consider our best work. How about establishing a directory at a lyx ftp site where we can deposit some examples? I have a resume format, a business plan format and a presentation format I'd be willing to contribute (although I'll have to take the time to strip out proprietary info). However, I've tended to just hack out latex preambles, rather than write formal document classes, etc. So there are probably much better conceived form documents in some of your collections.
