This would indeed be a very exciting project. I have mentioned before
that the combination of MathEd and MusicEd would be a very powerful
combination---I think without competition. Alice is writing plays, and
starting on a musical. I just converted her last play to LyX from wp51
to satisfy some formatting requirements for a competition and have a
preliminary broadway.cls as a result. She loved it and is now a LyX
convert. Lilypond can typeset her music, but an interface to LyX would
make things so much better. I'm trying to learn enough new TryX to do
this but it's making my brain hurt.
