LyX 1.0.0, XForms 0.88, teTeX 0.4 Solaris 2.5.1, EGCS 1.1.1 Create a new empty document. Type some text. Select a word. Select Layout->Bold Style with the mouse. The word turns bold. Select Layout->Bold Style again with the mouse. The word doesn't go back to non-bold. You have to either use the Characters popup and explicitly set it to Medium, or delete and re-enter the text.
