Hi there,
disregarding the thought of telling you something you already know, I
wanted notify you of a bug (at least I think it is :-) ) in LyX Version
1.0.0 concerning toggling on/off bold text:
If you select "medium series text" and type C-b (or M-c b or whatever
else) for bold text, the text is correctly bold. But if you wanna have
it back to medium, typing C-b or M-c b or pressing the bold icon or
deselecting "bold style" in the "layout" menu won't work.
The only possibility to get your text back to medium is to do it over
the Layout->Character menu.
Tech-data of my system:
* uname -a produces: HP-UX silber B.10.20 A 9000/782 2006389934 two-user
license
* It's LyX Version 1.0.0 from February 1st 1999.
* lyx -dbg 4 doesn't seem to realize the bug (nothing special is
displayed)
By the way: This bug was already reported in the
LyX-developer's-mailinglist (see
http://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-devel@lists.lyx.org/msg01325.html).
