Since this probably relies on which font you are using on which
machine, could you please describe in more detail how you can
reproduce the problem?
What system are you using -- which X server, how wide is the
LyX window, and which document and where in the document does
this phenomenon occur? Any other details that you might
find relevant are also welcome.
