Hi !
I would like to split a big document F.lyx in several parts, say
A.lyx, B.lyx, C.lyx. So I am using the "Insert -> Include file"
facility in my document F, and I create the files A.lyx, B.lyx,
C.lyx. Now, I want to use a set of macros in all these parts.
I can define them in a file M.lyx.
Now if I include (in fact, input) M.lyx in A, B, and C, I can see the
result of my macros in A, B, and C when typesetting them. The problem
is that "File -> View PostScript" will cause errors when running
LaTeX, since M will be inputed three times (LaTeX complains that some
\newcommand cannot be done since there is already a macro with the
given name).
If I input M.lyx only in M, I can make LaTeX happy, but I cannot
typeset A, B, C in a WYSIWYG fashion...
Maybe translating Lyx macro definitions into LaTeX providecommands
would be a reasonnable and inexpensive fix ?
