... and I'll add that, while being a pain sometimes, FSF does a great
service to the free software community by being so strict about what
free means. Let's face it: the closed form nature of xforms has
hampered the development of LyX.

I've been also annoyed by some statements from RMS and the FSF, but I
think they are right in the long term. 

So now let's get this 1.0.0 out and get rid of xforms in 1.1 :)
