   I agree 100%. The move to lyx.org was important, but confusing. I think we've
   removed references to via from the README, etc. It's very important before 1.0
   comes out to trim down the number of mailing lists, and to UPDATE THE LYX WEB
   SITES with this (and other) information! 
   

Let me try to talk to Martin again.  I also will write a bit about the
mlists for the webpage---I have not done it so b/c I do not know what
lists are going to be implemented by the time 1.00 comes out.
