I had to raise lynx's limit on the number of redirections it was willing to follow, and (for the sake of my sanity) I added a way to respond to the "accept this cookie?" prompt that says "yes, accept this, and accept all other cookies this run, regardless of domain". But I didn't do anything with the password code, and I've never had to enter it twice. There _are_ two input fields I never enter anything in; perhaps that's related somehow?
