Hi all, I got an bug report in Debian Bug Tracking System;
From: KURASAWA Nozomu <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Bug#252856: lynx-cur: Japanese letters sometimes vanish Date: Sun, 06 Jun 2004 00:27:42 +0900 > My native language is Japanese that have double width letters. > These letters are sometimes vanished on lynx-cur builded with > libncursesw5. > > Please download follow resources on lynx-cur, > and type '=' key twice or type 'r' key. > > euc-jp : http://www.debian.or.jp/~nabetaro/lynx-cur-test1-euc.html > iso-2022-jp: http://www.debian.or.jp/~nabetaro/lynx-cur-test1-jis.html > shift_jis : http://www.debian.or.jp/~nabetaro/lynx-cur-test1-sjis.html > utf-8 : http://www.debian.or.jp/~nabetaro/lynx-cur-test1-utf8.html I confirmed that when I visited one of the above URL and typed '=' key twice the some Japanes letters vanished. This might libncursesw problem, as you know. System info; kernel 2.6.6, lynx 2.8.6dev.4, libncursesw5 5.4 libc6(glibc) 2.3.2 BTW, I suspect that pressing '=' key twice showed us normal page again might be not documented. Is this intended behavior? If so I think it should be documented somewhere, for example, in keystrokes/keystroke_help.html Regards, 2004-6-8(Tue) -- Debian Developer & Debian JP Developer - much more I18N of Debian Atsuhito Kohda <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Department of Math., Univ. of Tokushima _______________________________________________ Lynx-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lynx-dev
