Right, it may not have been mentioned in this thread but it has always
been (in other threads) are current recommended workaround - better
than relying on the noisy support we have in lxc staging right now.

But the suggestion I made a few emails previous should, I think, be
the perfect solution.  A little baroque, but handling every case and
resulting in a clean /proc/self/mounts.
