Thanks, a couple of good options. I've got both Play and fDroid so either
is easy enough to access.

I'm happy to have a tinker with it at home, if I can get it working again
then it'll be a good second device. It's been well supported by LineageOS,
so has served well as a daily driver. Retrieving the photos is my first
step.
