I hope you wouldn't mind clarifying/confirming opening time.
Subject header (above) says 01:00 UTC, which equates to 11am
Melbourne time (Australian Eastern Standard Time zone):

$ TZ='Australia/Melbourne' date -d  'TZ="UTC" 2022-08-06 01:00'
Sat Aug  6 11:00:00 EST 2022
$

_However_, the linked page contradicts the above claim, saying instead
03:00 UTC (with unofficial room opening about an hour before, for
socialising). As the page says, that is 1pm Melbourne time:

$ TZ='Australia/Melbourne' date -d  'TZ="UTC" 2022-08-06 03:00'
Sat Aug  6 13:00:00 EST 2022
$

meetings/events: balug.org/covid (If FLOSS Down Under holds these
events on a continuing basis, I will certainly add an entry.)
