If you want a home server and live near Clyde then this is a really good deal. It can be expended to 96G of RAM if you add more 16G DDR3 ECC DIMMs, it comes with 2 SAS disks but can take up to 8 SAS/SATA disks (I recommend 2 SATA SSDs and as many SATA hard drives as required for bulk storage). https://etbe.coker.com.au/2021/06/07/dell-poweredge-t320-linux/ I have a T320 for my home server and I've documented the process of setting it up with Debian. The seller says "not support GPU config" but I believe that they are wrong with that. For my T320 home server with the same PSU configuration I bought a $20 PCIe power cable that is listed as being for a T420 (which has the same parts etc) and installed a power hungry GPU. The other option is to use a less power hungry GPU that only needs the 75W that the PCIe slot can provide. There isn't good documentation on running GPUs with a T320, but once you know the requirements (redundant PSU configuration and a T420 cable) it's easy. The only reason I'm not buying this myself is that Clyde is too far away. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/ _______________________________________________ luv-main mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]
