There are a number of SD standards.... SDSC (Standard, original SD)
SDHC only up to 32GB SDXC 32GB to 2TB Perhaps the "reader" isn't capable of the version that you are hoping to use. Being a 64GB card, it must be SDXC and your reader is probably just SDHC. Cheers A.
