If anyone is interested, ** please register and let me know **. I have registered. For info: 1. I will go to the idea sprint on 28 May. (Thursday). 2. Last year I went to this event (or equivalent)...and I had no idea what it was all about before going! I just went there teamed up with 4 other people I have never ever met before and ... we actually won the 2nd Prize!! from about 12 or 15 teams. I consider we should have won the first prize, but as it was a return ticket to USA, that made it difficult to share between 5 of us!! ...So put it this way, if the judging criteria is same as last year, I have a fair idea what it takes to win a prize! (and what it takes not not win one!!) 3. If you are interested, please email me with skills you can contribute. Note that non-techies can also be involved, infact I think this is why we did well last year, as we had a good balanced team with highly complementary skills. Someone with Open Street map api skills or Google map api (or the Nokia stuff - forgot how its called?) would also be highly useful. People who can put up a good webfront with python/php/perl etc backend quickly. Someone with good communication/marketing skills also useful.
