I recommend that JBOD be used for ZFS on servers, but if not using ZFS then 
hardware RAID gives benefits.

It's very rare that I see any mention of Bcache except in the context of data 
loss, it's known to lose data with some recent versions of BTRFS.  I recommend 
not using bcache on servers at this time, use it on test systems that have 
good backups.
