I had a look at it, it seems less broken then some of the other Android chroot solutions I have already looked at. However I can't seem to run ssh on it. If I run it with fakeroot, it complains that it can't setuid (not sure why it is trying actually); if I run it without fakeroot, it complains that there is no /etc/passwd entry for the user. Also related, I have root access on this device, but GNURoot, unfortunately, does not seem to support giving me real root privileges. (shame it doesn't have Jessie yet too). Does seem to best bet so far, creating and entering the chroot was relatively easy, with no need to work around broken shell scripts (which I have had to do with other solutions).
