I also see work being done on EFI in the Jessie installer <http://blog.einval.com/>. Of course, if you cannot turn off secure EFI boot, that could be a bigger issue. I think Ubuntu (and maybe others) might have signed EFI CD images, not absolutely sure however. -- Brian May <[email protected]>
