Subject: [lustre-discuss] Network configuration in heterogeneous cluster

Hi,

I have a heterogeneous cluster and the interface names are therefore different
on different nodes. For easier maintenance, I would like to continue booting
them from the same disk image. The only thing I can't figure out is how to deal
with lnet kernel module options.

In one case I want them to be

   options lnet networks="o2ib0(ibs5),tcp0(eno1)"

In the other case, they should be

   options lnet networks="o2ib0(ibp3s0),tcp0(enp6s0)"

Do you have any suggestions on how to handle this?

Thank you!
   Hanno
