For Intel server motherboards the tool is called "syscfg".

Don't know what system you have, but for all our commodity systems (Lenovo, 
Dell, HPE) we have specific vendor tools for that. Usually ipmitool also works.

I know this is a bit off topic but since we deal with a huge amount of compute 
nodes

I will shoot to the group.  Looking for a script to change the bios passwords 
all at once.

Any help would be appreciated.
