I got around this by disable building of Lustre tests cp rpmbuild/SOURCES/lustre-2.12.4.tar.gz . tar -xvf lustre-2.12.4.tar.gz cd lustre-2.12.4/ ./configure --enable-server --disable-tests make rpms
