make clean
make
make install
then tested with:
pcl6 -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile=laser.pdf laser.pcl

Supuestamente toma el archivo pcl y lo reescribe en pdf haciendo la
interpretación pcl.

Gracias Mario por tu aporte, pero resulta que me baje la versión
que vos citas y tambien la ultima que es la 1.5
pero no logro compilar ninguna de las 2 versiones,
Alguien logro compilarlo?
En el readme solo aconsejan hacer un make clean nomás
el make fonts lo pude hacer, el make pcl6 me dice
que no esta definido.
No probaste a ver si hay algun repositorio con dicho paquete;
aunque sea un rep. no oficial. No se que distro usas.
No veo definido como target a pcl6 en el makefile.
tenes lo siguiente:
1)
The XPS interpreter, type:
make xps
The executable will be xps/obj/gxps.
2)
the PCL/PXL interpreter, type:
1. make fonts # installs truetype fonts.
2. make # use make debug for a diagnostic system.
3. make test # run a pcl and pxl job using the default display device.
4. make install
1. and 4. may require administrator privileges.
3)
To build a shared language build with PCL/PXL and PostScript/PDF
make ls_product
The executable with be in language_switch/obj/pspcl6
Pero si queres hacer el build a los tres flavors de
interpretes pone solamente:
make
