Maybe what I said about the polkit bug is misleading. The problem with 
polkit we have is not same as that in that bug, but similar.


/etc/xdg/autostart/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1.desktop is there 
with correct path for us, but it is not run for some reason. Default 
applications for LXSession expects to run lxpolkit, which is not 
installed. Running the executable of 
/etc/xdg/autostart/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1.desktop manually 
on startup as shown in my first email worked for me.
