Hi Simon et al, Discovered there is a way to report a bug when the test system is awkward:-
Also, because of screen problems, I might have written the filename as 32-bit-graphics-apport apport-cli -f -p linux --save 32-bit-graphics.apport # this gathers debugging info and saves it as a text file Then you copy the above created file ("32-bit-graphics.apport") to a USB flash drive and copy it to a computer in order to file a bug, using this command:- ubuntu-bug -c 32-bit-graphics.apport # this takes the debugging info copied from the other system and passes it on to bugs.launchpad After doing some processing, it opened a page on Firefox. Logged in as usual, typed in some extra info about the bug. The bug was then filed OK. Bug #1724639 I've added an attachment with a photo of the display corruption.
