Hi, I'm trying to setup network install for my desktops and would like to use http as opposed the usual nfsroot approach which I already have working but is being cumbersome for a number of reason.
I have successfully migrated the installation of ubuntu-server to http and using d-i live-installer/net-image in my preseed file, however this fails for lubuntu. I get dropped to an initramfs shell complaining that /root can't be found. I'm guessing because the root squashfs file was coming from http something went amiss with the setup, but can't figure out where exactly. any idea? thanks, Spike
