Hi,

I describe the issue on my Laptop further. I run a LXQt Enviroment with
lxqt-metapackage build on a Kubuntu 16.04 on a Lenovo Ideapad with Nvidia
graphics. I have Compton active für compositing (I mention that to avoid
searching, if this could be the problem, but I don't think it is).

The behavior I experience is the following: When I start the LXQt enviroment
the first 1-3 activations with Alt-F2 are working, but after some time it does
not work and will not until I restart lxqt-runner or relogin to the enviroment.
When I hold Alt-F2 for some seconds I can see, that the window is appearing but
it closes immidiately - well after all I think this is it, because the screen
flickers like fast opening and closing in the area where the runner window
should be.

Alt-F1 and Alt-F4 are still working fine, so I can start appliations through
the menu.

Probably it's an issue with LXQt I have, but could also be a more global
problem. Any ideas?

Greetings
Stefan
