Hi. My desktop runs Lubuntu 16.04.1. If the system becomes inactive for awhile, the monitor seems to turn off, and I have to press any key on the keyboard or move the mouse for it to turn back on, then I have to enter my password to get back into the system. Is this called "sleeping"?
Anyway, the problem is that when I log back in, the mouse pointer becomes invisible; it's still there, but I just can't see it. I know this because when I attempt to move the mouse pointer towards the panel, the objects light up, for instance when I move the mouse pointer over the objects in the Application Launch Bar. The problem is that the pointer is invisible. Also, when I go the Panel Settings and try to change the color of the font, it won't change right away. I have to log out then log back in to see the change in color. That's it for now. Thanks
