Walter, I have no idea why nothing appears. Did you test this touchpad with other OS? It was working fine when you migrated to Lubuntu?
The only thing I can add is recommend you to update your kernel and see if anything changes. I use Lubuntu with 3.16 kernel and also 4.2 kernel on other machines, but I installed manually with synaptic (I guess they came from independent repository, since those are not standard for 14.04). A safer option would be running Lubuntu Utopic (kernel 3.16) and Wily (kernel 4.2) on a live session and run those test commands... 2015-12-09 0:24 GMT-02:00 Walter Orsi <walter.orsi...@gmail.com>: > Andre, xinput displays the same whenever I switch the touchpad on or off > with the keyboard shortcut. > > uname command displayed the following: > > Linux walter-netbook 3.13.0-61-generic #100-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jul 29 11:22:15 > UTC 2015 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux > > Greetings! > > 2015-12-08 10:36 GMT-03:00 Andre Campos Rodovalho < > andre.rodova...@gmail.com>: > >> Walter, apperently the kernel found nothing as Touchpad.
