Good morning,

I used FCITX all of last year at our school board in Montreal and even included
it in our Lubuntu image. IBUS caused us many problems with Google drive and we
are unable to get any support for this. FCITX worked great for us since we are
a bilingual school board that uses French and English.

Thanks

i have not tried fcitx but have had good luck with scim. in any case, ibus devs
seem to be non-responsive, so anything other than ibus will be great.

My experience with Fcitex is better than with iBus. This one keeps being buggy
with some apps. When I had to use foreign (CJK) characters Fcitex worked
better. Ubuntu Kylin is using it by default.

Hi,

I'm thinking of using fcitx instead of ibus for the input method by
default on Lubuntu, since ibus launch a lot of stuff by default and
fcitx has good feedbacks.

Do people who use input method have some comments on fcitx usage ? I
would be very interesting to have some feedbacks (I don't really use
input method).

Thanks in advance.
