Other option is copying to USB flashdrive . . . seems to be the latest standard choice . . . or, I'm not sure on the details, but I think using Virtualbox there doesn't have to be any "burning" . . . right? VB "stores" the .iso and handles it . . .??? There does seem to be a "learning curve" for VB, but it might get around the snail mail option . . . . Probably still need to check the md5sum number, as there does seem to be more issues with "corruption" than a year or so back, making for problems on the LiveDVD or install . . . so that might be the OP's problem?
