Hi Henk, I don't really understand your question. You can install software from the lubuntu software center or you can use synaptic to install the regular ubuntu software center or you can just use synaptic to install software or you can forget the front ends and in a terminal type:
sudo apt-get install <name of the software you want to install> for example to install remind you would type sudo apt-get install remind then you will be asked for your password and remind will be downloaded and installed.
