Dear all,

I use Lubuntu 14.10. In order to connect to the wifi signal sent by the modem I use a USB adapter TP-Link TL-WN725N, since this adapter is widely recommended to be used for Linux systems.

Presently the connection is extremely slow and unstable. Therefore, my questions are:

1. Is TP-Link TL-WN725N really the right adapter, or do there exist better alternatives?
2. What is the right driver to be used? How can I install this driver?

Best,

Wilbert

I use a NETGEAR N150 WiFi USB Adapter for my many Linux (and Windows) systems. It works for me 'out of the box', with nothing required in setting it up other than configuring the wireless access key.
