Folks/gents/ladies: So, took a few minutes to boot the live DVD of 14.04.1 on the iBook; took awhile to get the boot parameters right to get into a good resolution GUI . . . but, in a word, "No" . . . . I think my prior post here about the testing of the 14.04 DVD has not been changed . . . . But, chiefly the window dragging is slow, and also does not follow the mouse, but seems to move around independently of my commands . . . .
Would that be fixed by a proper xorg.conf file? Possibly, but, time is limited for this project; I'm just trying to support efforts to help make PPC a viable option . . . but really it doesn't look like anything has been changed for PPC in this .1 version???? Just sayin' F/e.e.p.
