It's possible but I didn't notice this time around. The reason for not noticing is that I've also been using the Openbox session of Lubuntu for a while and the fonts did need fixing. I had to do things to ~/.Xresources to fix matters. So the LXQt session maybe influenced by the contents of that file. My ~/.Xresources looks like this: ! Render setting for cairo -> pango -> gtk Xft.dpi: 96 Xft.antialias: true Xft.hinting: true Xft.rgba: rgb Xft.hintstyle: hintslight and I made that file based on advice from http://awesome.naquadah.org/wiki/Better_Font_Rendering Of course, things may or may not work the same way for you but all the best!
