Thanks!
This is what I get:
kjetil@kjetil-HP-Pavilion-dv4-Notebook-PC:~$ lspci | grep Network
08:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 2230
(rev c4)
kjetil@kjetil-HP-Pavilion-dv4-Notebook-PC:~$
Maybe all you need is:

Hola!
I am now using Lubuntu 14.04
There is one great problem: My system is not recognizing wifi,
nowhere. I am now using internet via a physical cable, works
fine. wifi is not seen, nowhere, by my machine. Before upgrading
this worked. What happened?'

Hi,
Can you run this command in a terminal, and post the output?
lspci | grep Network
this will list your Network devices.
My guess is that you have a broadcom chip and need one of the b43
packages.
sometimes the wrong one gets installed and you have to purge it
and install the other..
