Autostart Ubuntu One and add to LXPanel
1. Go to Menu --> Accessories --> LXTerminal
2. Type (or copy and paste): sudo apt-get install indicator-sync
3. Go to Menu --> Preferences --> Default applications for LXSession
4. Click the "Autostart" tab
Then, in the text box under "Manual autostarted applications,"
5. Type (or copy and paste): ubuntuone-control-panel-qt --minimized
--with-icon
6. Press the "+ Add" button to the left of the text box
7. Reboot
How to make the GNOME Keyring Manager behave? Got me. Sorry. Same boat
here.

Hi Eric,
I had managed to install UbuntuOne, and had the icon in LXPanel. I could
start the service manually but it was the autostart that was failing. I
tried adding the UbuntuOne service to Default Applications For LXSession
but it did not work for me, it was only when I set the option to disable
autostarted applications to 'No' that the service started on the next
reboot.
Installing Seahorse has made the keyring manager behave. I did not have
to change any settings, it just sorted itself out after a reboot.
Are you using 14.04 or 13.10?
Regards,
