This is a kernel problem and not specifically a lubuntu problem, but
maybe someone might know the answer.
Right now I'm running kernel 3.13_0_2 on my desktop. The nvidia drivers
for the video card (I don't know the model; almost always the takes the
304.xx drivers) don't work. Neither the open source driver or the
non-free driver from nvidia will install.
The main problem is that nvidia.ko can't compile correctly. Is there a
way to patch the driver up without having to compile my own linux
kernel? I do not look forward to the latter.
