In Core Components, I saw this right at the top:
Window manager
Openbox [2]
We did not develop our own window manager. Instead, we use
Openbox.
To support Wayland, we need to find a new one if we want to migrate to
Wayland later.
I love Openbox. I wonder what will take its place. And there's no
mention of Mir. All so cloudy and confusing.

You love Openbox, I like Openbox, but if Openbox cannot follow the
developments (Wayland, Mir..) then it will be a dead project.
LXDE and Razor-QT teams now a are in cooperation and LXDE will
eventually make the switch from GTK+ to QT. About the Display Server ?
Hmmm, I don't know the final goal, it seems that Wayland is more
attractive for them, but I personally believe that until Wayland becomes
fully operational, fully functional, will spent..years ? We'll see.
