Monitoring the performance/usage with Task Manager is not very useful. Much better is to use "top" or "htop" sudo apt-get install htop Task Manager will never show the SWAP and how much a process may use SWAP ;) Don't forget, 13.10 has zRAM by default now. So, things, say with 13.04 could be a bit different. From my last testing, 13.10 is faster than 13.04 :) "top" and "htop" will show you everything. Task Manager won't show you everything :) Just an advice/suggestion, if I may offer, of course :) -- "All of us are smarter than any one of us." *Best Regards,* *amjjawad <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/amjjawad/>* *Start Ubuntu<https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lubuntu/CommunicationsTeam/WOWLubuntu/StartUbuntu> * *My Own Business <http://alilinx.blogspot.com/>*
