So, you did exactly what I had in mind :-) I happy to see that other people are able to use it without many explanations :-)

If it's a text based configuration file, it can be added to lxsession conffiles mechanism. I just need the location of the configuration file in home directory. > @Julien: > I already shipped a custom config for openbox for positioning the close, > maximize and minimize buttons on the left, however openbox does not seem to > load this. I guess the /usr/bin/openbox-lubuntu script has still the lubuntu > profile hardcoded. Also I am little bit confused about the openbox-custom > parameter in the desktop.conf file as it seems to search for a script. In desktop.conf, you still using the Lubuntu session for openbox. So, it will load the Lubuntu configuration file. To do what you want, you have to use openbox-custom as windows manager, and put the path of your configuration file into session. That's probably not so obvious, so I probably need to make it easier. > Here is my little testing ppa: > https://launchpad.net/~leszek-lesner/+archive/testing-stuff > > Just as a reference. You should at least use the Lubuntu daily PPA if you want to use it on something different that 13.10.
